What to expect

We support you as a patient on Samares Unit with our 24 hour nursing care. A resident doctor provides medical cover from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We also provide out of hours support by a call out service.

We give you with a weekly timetable, showing the therapy sessions included.
We also provide you with a personal exercise programme. You and your family are invited to take part in regular goal setting and review meetings.

You are encouraged to wash and dress in your own clothes each day. Breakfast and lunch are served in the communal dining room.

What to bring

You need to bring your own clothes to wear every day. Trousers are more comfortable than skirts for your therapy sessions. We recommend comfortable shoes and socks.

Contact us

You can contact us at any time from Monday to Sunday. If we’re with patients, we cannot always answer the phone straight away, so try again later.

Patient confidentiality is essential. There are occasions when we're unable to share information. Contact the unit manager if you need to discuss this.
