I would like a breakdown of all the finances and the total cost for the new gym at DfI at Bellozanne.

As part of the States of Jersey Wellbeing Strategy the Department for Infrastructure have installed a gym as a pilot project “Active at Work”, in conjunction with Active Jersey, at their offices in Bellozanne valley.
The costs specific to the gym are:

The cost of the gym equipment previously quoted in the media was the original estimated price. The final delivered cost of the equipment was below this estimate as quoted above.
The costs of mirrors and floorcoverings specific to the gym area have been identified separately.
Department for Infrastructure (DfI) employees who are existing members of the Active scheme are entitled to use the gym at no additional cost. Non Active members will pay a small charge to DfI for use of the facilities to cover maintenance and wear and tear of the facilities. Eligible DfI employees will be able to use the gym outside of “core” working hours whilst off duty.
The refurbishment of the Bellozanne site is part of DfI’s office strategy which saves the cost to the taxpayer of building a new £4m facility by up-cycling existing properties and freeing up the South Hill site for sale and redevelopment.
