Could you please tell me if the General Hospital is issued with car park pay cards for the use of staff or patients? If so, could you please tell me:

• Who qualifies to receive such pay cards?

• How are they monitored?

• Which hospital department looks after them and do they do so for all hospitals (ie General / Overdale and so on)?

• How is the monetary value of such cards accounted for in the States of Jersey accounts and which department does this fall under?

The General Hospital is not issued with car park pay cards.

The Department of Health and Social Services (HSSD) purchase car park pay cards when necessary and appropriate. The purchased Car Park pay cards are solely for the use of HSSD staff on States of Jersey business.
