WS Atkins were engaged as advisors to undertake a Pre-Feasibility Spatial Assessment to;
‘… identify the most appropriate location for the identified business needs of the General and Acute Hospital and the overall strategy for delivery. This included the development of a statement of business need to set out and verify the future spatial requirements of the service, and identify the capacities and constraints, which can be used to consider site alternatives.
