I would like to find out more information about the Access to Work fund currently administered by Social Security. Specifically I would like to know:

How many requests have been made since the pilot scheme started?

What is the average amount paid per claim for Access to Work?

How has the funding been marketed / publicised?

Is Access to Work a long term scheme?

Seven applications have been received since the pilot scheme started in January 2018.
B
Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied to this question as the number is small and may identify individuals.

Of the applications completed to date, the average amount per claim is £193.46.

The grant was launched in January with a press release on 8 January. States departments and third sector groups were contacted and sent promotional materials. In addition, there has been ongoing promotion on the States of Jersey Facebook and LinkedIn pages. The Access to Work Grant is a one year pilot scheme and will be evaluated at the end of the pilot period.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) Its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
