GST is not charged on any user pays services provided at the Jersey General Hospital, because medical services supplied by the hospital are exempt supplies for GST purposes under Group 4 “Medical and paramedical supplies”, of Schedule 5 to the Goods and Services Tax (Jersey) Law, 2007.
