Response

A

The States of Jersey do not record this information.

B

The States of Jersey do not record this information.

C

The reason(s) why Parking Control may need to move a vehicle to another location are usually:

(a) due to the vehicle being impounded for being parked illegally

(b) to enable safe working inside a car park and / or to avoid any possible damage to the vehicle by works being carried out.

If movement is required in relation to (b), Parking Control will attempt to make contact with the registered keeper of the vehicle to request that it is moved. However, where they are unable to make contact by phone and there is insufficient time to write to the registered keeper the vehicle will be moved in a safe manner to another section of the parking area.

Any vehicle moved, whether it be for (a) or (b), will be moved in accordance with the requirements set out under the Road Traffic (Removal of Vehicles) (Jersey) Order 1963.
